Rustic, quirky and earthy get my attention. Days may be hot or cold, sunny, cloudy or rainy (under shelter or indoors.) Any season and any place work for me; especially out in the country.

Middle Tennessee is a lovely place to live. I love to paint outdoors (called plein air) by myself, and with groups. For many years I was a member of the Chestnut Group, local plein air painters, which provides access to many private properties. I have also lead classes and painting events with the Tennessee Watercolor Society.
