Rustic, quirky, earthy and elegant get my attention. For plein air painting, days may be hot or cold, sunny, cloudy or rainy (under shelter or indoors.) Any season and any place work for me; especially out in the country.

Flowers and Gardens

Loving flowers and gardens was born in me. I have designed and tended many at our home, including my daffodil field and wildflower garden seen here. My travels have always included planned visits to numerous gardens. Dilly Dahlias are from photos I took in Butchart Gardens, Victoria, BC.
